Hi guys, I'm back with another review for you and this time it features a product found in The Body Shop. After hearing Zoella, the beauty sensation, raving about this product back in the summer I decided to hop on the bandwagon and try it out myself.

The mask has a milky, and as the name would suggest, bouncy texture that you massage into the face at night. The product contains cell-renewing Edelweiss stem cells that make your skin feel "bouncier, smoother, more refreshed, recharged and renewed." It comes with a teeny, tiny spatula which is great as it stops bacteria from your hands going into the product.

It claims to rejuvenate your skin allowing for a far more youthful face. I'm not sure about that claim as I'm only 21 so I don't really need "youthful" appearance. What I was looking for was a product that would quench my thirsty skin and this product does just that. I have dry/dehydrated skin all year round and I found this product gave me this glow that no other product has been able to do. It is recommended to use every night which I typically do, especially in the winter. This stops my skin feeling tight and dry. I think even normal to oily skin types may even benefit from this product if  used sparingly.

Creme Cup

This lipstick has a special place in my heart as it was my very first Mac lipstick, gosh the good old days. This lipstick is a cremesheen finish giving you a creamy and glossy finish. The shade is very pigmented and a perfect everyday colour. I love using this in the centre of my lips on top of a lip liner to give a fuller lip effect [see how I do this here]. If you're just starting out your Mac lipstick collection I think this is a great colour.

Faux

Unlike the Creme Cup, this lipstick has a satin finish. This is my favourite as it almost matte in texture but isn't as drying on the lips. If you're looking for a darker brown nude but you're not quite ready for the plunge this is a great colour as it still isn't as dramatic

Velvet Teddy

I'm yet to meet someone that doesn't like this shade. It has a matte finish so the colour lasts forever. It is a "deep tone beige" and gives of a 90s vibe which has been seen many celebs and beauty bloggers. This colour can be worn both day and night, it's definitely one of my favourites.

 Red

L-R: Chilli, Ruby-Woo

Chilli

This shade is also a matte and another favourite of mine. Unlike the other, this shade is more of a burnt red colour. Since it is so dark it's perfect for the colder seasons. This is an autumn must have shade.

Ruby-Woo

Ruby-Woo is a beauty cult classic and many beauty gurus rave about this shade. It is a matte finish which is what I always opt for when picking a bold red. I love this shade, it's classic, bright and very Marilyn Monroe  The colour lasts most of the day and you don't need to worry about it being too dry. But, bearing that in mind you want to make sure your lips are properly primed and smooth before applying this, just as you would with any matte colour for better application.

Purple

Plumful

Plumful

This is my only purple shade from Mac and another one of my favourites. It has a lustre finish, meaning that it is pretty sheer but the colour is buildable. I love just tapping this colour on my lips to give me a wash of colour.

Limited Edition

L-R: Creme D'Nude, Tumble Dry

Creme D'Nude

Just like Creme Cup the finish of this lipstick is a cremesheen. The colour is very light, a bit too light for my skin tone giving off the whole concealer lip look. But if you like that look give it a go, it's not a look that looks good on me. I have found a use for this lipstick however. I typically apply it to the centre of my lips to make the look fuller as well as rocking a subtle ombre lip.

Tumble Dry

I had high hopes for this lipstick but it didn't really meet my expectations. It has a lustre finish so it is pretty sheer. I've yet to wear this colour out as I didn't find it every looked great but if you've found out how to make this work let me know in the comments below as the shade looks beautiful but it just doesn't seem to be working for me.

So, that's it, my Mac lipstick collection! Satin and matte are by far my favourite finishes as I prefer to add my own gloss if I want too and I prefer a lipstick that has far more lasting power because reapplying lipstick is the most annoy thing and something I forget to do 75% of the time. So guys I have a task for you. Please mention in the comments below what shade I should get next as I need to reach the DOUBLE DIGITS!

Thank you for reading guys, let me know your favourite Mac lipstick is, go on I dare you.

Are you like me and lost at the genetic lottery when lips are concerned? Don't worry, I've got your back.

Kylie Jenner has been killing it recently and her lips are incredible. The youngest Jenner recently admitted to getting lip fillers which explains the drastic transformation but that doesn't mean you can't recreate the same effect at home.

To fake fuller lips you are going to need 6 products: a lip scrub, lip balm, pink or nude lipstick, dark nude lip liner, highlighter and bronzer. You will also need two applicators, I used Real Techniques Accent and Detail brush. If you don't have either on hand don't worry, you just need a small and slim brush to add subtle details to the lips. This look can be created in 4 simple steps.

The first step is ensuring your lips are looking their best by exfoliating and moisturising them. Before applying any makeup I like to exfoliate with Bubblegum by Lush lip scrub. You can use any lip scrub you have at hand as well as making your own (example here). By exfoliating your lips you are removing any dead skin cells, just the same as when you exfoliate your face, allowing for nice smooth lips. To optimise a smooth texture, follow your lip scrub with a moisturising lip balm.

Next it's time to add dimension to your lips! I like to add highlighter to the cupids bow and the center of my bottom life. Highlighter emphasises these areas, creating the illusion of fuller lips. Then add contour underneath my bottom lip, this creates the look of a shadow making the lips look bigger.

The final step is applying the lipstick. The colour you use has to be lighter than the lip liner. I like to use a light pink or nude colour but it's completely up to you. You can either apply the lipstick to the centre of your lips or all over, both look just as good. Afterwards, they should look a little something like this.

I love wearing this look during the day as well as the night because of how flattering it is. I feel like it is very natural and would work for anyone. Or, I'm just obsessed with fuller lips. Either way, I'm not going to complain, I love the way it looks.

Let me know if you try to recreate this look and tell me in the comments bellow what shades you used. Also, if you have social media, post some photos and tag me in them (@ntlsctt) so I can have a look.
